The Neighbor Mix!
You are Invited! On Saturday morning on March 30th, you 
are invited to a casual social gathering of local neighbors at McDuff's Cafe (at Highlands Golf Course)! We live so close, why not meet and get to know each other a little better? Andrea, the organizer, will greet you and make introductions. There might be a fun "ice breaker" game for a prize seeing how well you know some details about our neighborhood. It's all for fun, and to foster new connections with the people who live right around the corner. Join us!

What is The Neighbor Mix?It's a way for neighbors to come together and meet each other over a coffee.
Who is Invited?
Neighbors! To make sure it's neighbors somewhat close to each other, the criteria is that you live in walking distance to Highlands Golf Course.
What is the date?
March 30, 2024 - Saturday morning starting at 10:00 AM. We'll meet inside McDuff's Cafe located at Highlands Golf Course. Andrea will be there to greet and introduce all who attend :)
Does it cost anything?
The event is free! Just pay for whatever drink or snack appeals to you at the cafe. If you become a regular to my events, all I ask is that you think of me if you are in need of real estate services to buy or sell your home :)

Who is the organizer?
I am Andrea Martin, a local real estate agent who lives in North Tacoma. My hobby is connecting people with each other. I thought that I would combine the two in this event: planning an event where neighbors could meet each other, getting the word out there that I'm a dedicated Tacoma real estate agent who would love to help you when you're in need of real estate services.
Will this event become a regular occurrence?
If there is interest, Andrea will plan it! Just make sure to add yourself to the invite list, so Andrea has a way to notify you of a future date. Depending on the type of event, she will email you or send an invite in the regular (snail) mail.
How do I receive invites to future events?

Come for Others!
Come to the event...maybe not for yourself, but for others! It can be isolating not knowing one's neighbors. So that those seeking community have some great friendly people to meet.
How did this idea come about?
Being a real estate agent, Andrea was hosting an Open House in North Tacoma. At one point, there were several neighbors 
inside the house talking about the layout, and also bonding over being neighbors and their shared experiences of living in the same area.
They chatted in the kitchen for over an hour laughing and sharing their stories about specific happenings in their neighborhood. To Andrea, it sounded like they were meeting for the first time although they lived so close. This got her thinking...so many people live close to each other but often do not have an opportunity to come together and socialize.
The idea of The Neighbor Mix was born! :)
